7 Facebook Tips to Get Cleaning Clients

I typed up these 7 tips for you if you need clients right away.  The holidays are the easiest time to get clients.

You can get clients FREE or for little cost using Facebook.

#1:  Ability to add more content: Content is one of the best ways to reach new customers.  You can instantly post articles, stories, or short blurbs related to your cleaning business.   This makes your Facebook page somewhat of a “living newsletter.”

#2:  SEO improvement.  Google and other search engines love when you have Facebook users interact with your business.  Your Facebook page can show up in the top ten of Google (if you do it right) and it can help your website RANK HIGHER.

#3:  Facebook coupons.  This is cheaper and more effective than Val-pak and old coupon sources.  We’re now using coupons on Facebook to get cleaning clients.  When a user “Likes” your page, they automatically get the coupon.

#4:  Use Facebook pay-per-click.  You can set up ad campaigns for as little as $1 per day in Facebook’s ad section.

#5:  A Billion Users and Growing: Currently, Facebook has slightly over a billion users, worldwide. This is solid proof that most of your local consumers are probably spending a lot of time on Facebook.

#6:  Photos and videos.  People LOVE photos and videos.  In fact, I’ve tested my post interaction.  Posts with photos or videos get more interaction every time.

#7:  Facebook contests.  This is great to get leads and more “Likes” on your page.  When a user “Likes” your page, they’re automatically entered in your contest for a free $100 gift certificate or a free whole house cleaning.

In my Advertising Coaching Club, we’re doing LOTS of training on how to use Facebook to get cleaning clients. Many members are getting increases in website ranking and a surge of new clients.  See how you can join by Clicking Here.

Re: New Online Advertising Tactics
From: John Braun

There are some brand new things we’re doing on Facebook.

Hardly any other small businesses are doing it…especially not other cleaning companies.

Why Facebook?

1.  It’s cheap, effective advertising.  You can do a campaign for as little as $1 per day.

2.  Your prospects and clients likely spend more time on Facebook than television or any other media.  Yep, it’s that big.

Start doing this BEFORE your competition does.

Until later,

Get Cleaning Clients With Facebook (for Free) [Podcast #7]

Listen to the podcast below now:

Facebook is the undisputed king of social media with well over a billion users.

You can get referrals from current clients and even gain brand new clients.

In days of past, a happy client would tell 3 or 4 friends. An angry client may have told a dozen people.

Know that whether you participate online or not, your clients will.

Understand the natural of social media:

It’s not all about your business.  Why do people come to Facebook?

  • Get involved in community pages and conversations.
  • Post about community related topics or the conversation in their mind.  If you’re having record cold temps, post about.
  • Post about holiday preparation.
  • Give tips on how to care for carpet, fine rugs, tile, pet stains, etc
  • Give emergency tips.  People love this, especially during an emergency.
  • Ask your fans what they think.  Try your hardest to get FEEDBACK.
  • Don’t post about politics.  Don’t post anything negative about other people or companies.

Want to REALLY stir up a buzz?  Start a contest on Facebook.  Give away a whole house of carpet cleaning like my cleaning company and several of my clients did.

Social Media Marketing

Click Here to Get More Clients on Social Media

Signing up for Facebook and other social sites is just the first step…the real magic comes after that.

Social media can do this for you:

  1. Boost your website ranking in the searches
  2. Bring you clients directly from the social media sites

Here’s a video clip from a private member webinar I did the other night:

The good news is that spreading the word about your social media profiles is fairly simple.  Here are a few ways:

  • All the major social media sites have widgets you can use to create buttons and banners on your business website.

  • Create postcards or newsletters to promote your social media. Add in a promotion or discount in order to gain more followers.

  • Use appropriate keywords. For example, a carpet cleaning company in Atlanta may use “Carpet Cleaning Atlanta” or a variation of the phrase throughout their posts for search engines to see.

  • Link your blog entries to your social media sites. Plus, link your social media accounts together.  For example, LinkedIn has widgets to auto-post to Facebook.

I have to say this…”I’m NOT in love with social media just for the sake of being a techno weenie or an online social butterfly.

But I do LOVE what the Internet can do for our cleaning businesses!”

When done properly, Internet marketing is by far the #1 return in advertising for cleaning companies.

The problem is, you need to know where to spend your time so you don’t end up wasting dozens of hours on the Internet.

Google Adwords Costly Mistakes to Avoid [Podcast #6]

Adwords can be tricky.  Here are some tips to help you avoid the pitfalls.

  1. What is Google Adwords?  You have “organic” listing and paid listing.  Adwords is the paid listing.
  2. Campaign settings.  By on search network only.  It’s okay to be on mobile devices.  Choose your locations very carefully!  Start with a small budget of $5-10 per day and work your way up.
  3. Entering your keywords.  Broad match, phrase match, and exact match.  By default, your keywords are broad matched.  Broad matches are the lazy way of doing Adwords.  But it will cost you.
  4. Your ad must be a good ad and relevant to the keywords.  If your keywords are “carpet cleaning Atlanta”, make sure they are in the ad.  If your keywords are “water damage Atlanta”, make sure they are in the ad.  And also, make sure the ad goes to a page that is relevant to the keywords.
  5. Call them to action.  Put action words in the ad.  Words like “Call for a free inspection now” or “Go here for a quick estimate.”
  6. Don’t forget to do the monitoring of your account.
  7. To sign up for Adwords, Google, “Adwords.”  Create a google account if you don’t have one or sign in with your existing account.   Usually the system will take you through a wizard that helps you set up your first account.  But don’t leave it to that!  Go back and make SURE these mistakes I’ve listed are addressed.
